WEEK #4

Had surgery this week... something new for me.. had never been cut open before! I was nervous, scared and pretty much just a basket case. I almost backed out and was pep talking myself when I took this photo. This was me making a choice... a choice to feel better!

I was mad and sad ... seemed loosing my uterus was a big deal and I felt I should have done more for it... well.. I did ... I told it that I was sorry that it had had such a rough life and that I never used it for its intended purpose... but our time had come to an end and we needed to break up!

I was worried I would be unhappy and sad at the loss... but I have handled this like a champ and feel so much better than I ever expected!!  I have closure and don't really feel a loss but thankful for my many blessings that have been bestowed upon me! Thank You!!

So this is me looking forward to the future .......

WEEK #3

Well we took a little weekend trip... We headed toward the beach here in Washington. Ended up in Longbeach and took in some sights... chowed down at a crab feed for a local cause. Excellent choice... as most of the eating establishments in town were CLOSED! LOL but the dinner was excellent and the company was fun!

I really wanted to see Cape Disappointment Lighthouse... Never made it because it got really foggy and darkness was setting in quickly on our little adventure.

We did however gave a QUICK look at North Head Lighthouse... It was COLD and FOGGY and we lost what little daylight we had really fast! I popped a few shots off before my camera decided it needed extra lighting to take anymore.

WEEK #2

We went down to the Fisherman's Terminal in Seattle and hung out walking on the docks... They were very quite as all the fishermen had gone home ... We ate at "The Bay" there at the marina. It's only open until 2:15pm every day so if you want some good fish ... get in before they close!

I wonder about the boats and if they are making money.. how many generations have made their living fishing and crabbing out of this terminal. ..  I want to know it all ... I want their story because for me they are majestic, beautiful and are the heart and soul of this area and its strength and fortitude.

Rain and Lights

I have decided that I like the Christmas lights that Kindra and I hung in the back yard. Thinking of adjusting them a bit as they are a wee bit sloppy... Might add more and possibly some to the tree to the right. Should make for some Pretty Summer Nights out back.

The rain shows in the orbs in this shot... it wasn't pouring but it wasn't sprinkling either. (LOL) It just rains here... all the time...
