This past week I watched as a new Pope was introduced to the world. I am not Catholic but have the highest respect for the Pope and his duties. Quite the honor and quite the job to take on! I learned that the Pope is chosen he does not run for office, but he is elected by his peers. What great work you must do to be noticed by so many to say "hey we like this guy".

Jorge Mario Bergoglio on December 17, 1936... you are the one to make a change.. I can feel it in my bones and I am drawn to you. I feel you are my answer to so many religious quandaries. I am actually thinking of becoming Catholic as this is the one religion that seems to offer me what I seek.
I know I did not take this photo... but he is what inspired me this week and opened my heart and has made me smile. I am honored to have been alive to watch another Pope ushered into service. Yes I have watched before.... but none have opened my eyes and my heart like Pope Francis.
